BAS understand that preserving the historic and cultural value of artifacts presents challenges to owners and museum professionals. Preventive conservation is our goal as its implementation not only preserves the condition of artifacts, but it may also reduce the necessity of invasive and costly conservation treatments in the future.

We also offer workshops to collecting institutions who wish to train staff on conservation related topics such as identifying potential condition concerns, proper handling and packing techniques for artifacts.
